Freddy isn’t just a dog, he’s a vital part of life at Cloverhill. With his kind nature and clever mind, Freddy connects effortlessly with residents and staff. He even gets around in a specially adapted wheelchair, allowing him to approach residents who use wheelchairs or have limited mobility.
Every day, Freddy brings happiness and routine to our home. You’ll often spot him walking through the gardens on bright mornings or sitting beside a resident during a quiet afternoon. He happily performs tricks, accepts treats and gives gentle nudges that spark memories and smiles.
And here’s something we often notice: even if a resident forgets someone’s name or a recent conversation, they never forget Freddy. His presence brings familiarity, calmness and an emotional connection that words sometimes can’t reach.
